The Louisville AIDS Walk heightens awareness of HIV/AIDS, unites the community and raises money to address the needs of local people who are liivng with HIV/AIDS. Since 1993, the Louisville AIDS Walk has had an impressive overall average expense rate of only 11%. 100% of the Walk's proceeds are distributed to multiple local, non-profit HIV/AIDS service organizations which provide critical direct services such as food, housing, medication assistance, counseling, legal assistance, transportation to and from medical appointments, educational/health/life skills workshops, a monthly fellowship dinner, children's programs and more for people in Louisville and Southern Indiana who are living with HIV/AIDS. A tax deductible contribution to the Louisville AIDS Walk is an investment in caring. Please join us September 28th as we celebrate our 16th Anniversary!
The incomparable Elton John graciously agreed to support Louisville AIDS Walk by recording the public service announcement below. We are so honored and grateful to have this support from Elton. In addition to being one of the most celebrated and accomplished entertainers in the world, Elton is also one of world's foremost HIV/AIDS philanthropists.
